Another fun treat we tried this week! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. This one is my fav cause it is whole wheat, it is loaded with fruits! Perfect Kiddie Breakfast! Design from here. Though the idea was to make an owl, when I finished I thought it looks like a monster bird! What say?
Ingredients (enough for 1 kid)
Whole Wheat Flour 1/4 cup
Baking Powder 1/4 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt a pinch
Milk 1/4 cup (Use Soy Milk or Almond Milk)
White Chocolate Chips 1 tsp
Milk Chocolate Chips a few
Strawberry 1
Kiwi 1
Grapes 2
Method of Preparation
1. Silt the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in a bowl.
2. Make a well in the flour mix. Add the milk to it.
3. Using a fork mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
4. Mix till the flour is all mixed and there are no lumps. Do not over mix.
5. Let this batter sit for 5-10 minutes. Finally add in the white chocolate chips.
6. Heat a pan, pour a ladle of batter (2/3 rd of the mix) to the pan.
7. Let it cook on one side till little bubbles appear on the top.
8. Flip and cook on the other side for a few seconds.
9. Pour a ladle of batter (1/3 rd of the mix) to the pan. Cook till done.
10. Arrange as in the photo. Add the fruits to complete the owl.

The owl looks so cute. I hate the yucky scary things prepared for halloween But love your recipe. I am hosting an event where you cook with mushrooms. Please do participate.
