Ghost Pancakes - Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Pancakes - Halloween Special - Vegan

Halloween is round the corner.  Though Halloween is all about spooky and stuff, I think it can be about cute and fun too. It is half term holidays here for kids. So what better excuse that to make some kiddie treats. So this week we have been working on some wonderful Halloween treats at home. A welcome change after all the fun, hectic making of Diwali sweets. I have borrowed idea from the Internet.

Ingredients (enough for 1 kid)

Whole Wheat Flour 1/4 cup
Baking Powder 1/4 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt a pinch

Milk 1/4 cup (Use Soy Milk or Almond Milk)
White Chocolate Chips 1 tsp
Milk Chocolate Chips a few

Method of Preparation

1. Silt the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in a bowl.

2. Make a well in the flour mix. Add the milk to it.

3. Using a fork mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.

4. Mix till the flour is all mixed and there are no lumps. Do not over mix.

5. Let this batter sit for 5-10 minutes. Finally add in the white chocolate chips.

6. Heat a pan, pour a ladle of batter to the pan in the shape of a ghost - a little elongated and thinner to the ends. Add the milk chocolate chips as eyes and nose.

7. Let it cook on one side till little bubbles appear on the top.

8. Flip and cook on the other side for a few seconds.

Serve the pancakes with some fresh fruit.
