Halloween Mini Pies - Pumpkin Pizza Pie and Ghost Pizza Pie

Halloween and Half term coinciding this year is turning out to be absolute fun week. My little one and I are having loads of fun doing some craft activities and then ofcourse making some fun food. Though these ideas are great for halloween and the autumn season, I am sure they are a great way to feed a picky eater. Idea for these is borrowed from this recipe for a sweet pop tart.

Some craft we did yesterday. Just any jar would do. Cut out shapes like pumpkin, ghost etc. Stick them to the jar. Place a tea light inside and you are done!!

Ingredients (Makes 6-7 mini pies)

Pie Crust 1 sheet
Sauce of choice (I used Sundried Tomato and Cashew Pesto)
Cheese - I used Cheddar

Method of Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 175C (or as per package instruction).

2. Using a round cookie cutter cut out circles for the pumpkin shape. I used just a knife for Ghost shapes.

3. Top one round with cheese and sauce (or any other topping used).

4. Cut out eyes, nose, mouth etc on the other piece.

5. Lay on top of the other and seal the edges.

6. Arrange on a parchment lined baking sheet.

7. Bake for about 20-25 min (or till the top is slightly browned).

8. Let it cool and serve.
